High Power microwave transmitters radiate an appreciable
amount of spurious output power, that is, frequency components other than the carrier
frequency and the normal sideband modulation signals. It is necessary to use high power
filters at the output of these transmitters that wil pass the carrier and normal
modulation signals but suppress the spurious emmissions, and thus, keep them from causing
interference in neighboring equipment. Coleman Micowave Company's technical staff has vast
and in-depth experience in the design and development of high power filters for radar and
communications systems in waveguide and coaxial transmission lines.
